Hannah Braun is a young, successful literary agent in New York City. When she experiences an unexpected setback at work, her carefully constructed life is thrown into disarray and she finds herself questioning all that she has worked so hard for. After hearing Frank Shankwitz, of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, speak one night, Hannah embarks on a journey that will take her across the country and back as she tries to determine just what her purpose in life is. Along the way, she encounters numerous people who have both sage wisdom and practical advice to share to help her define exactly what it is she truly wants to do and how she is going to achieve it.
