📖 Description
Carthage, Tunisia The first thing that Cassidy Le Mason noticed about Carthage was that the colorful native warriors loved long iron-tipped spears adorned with fancy feathers. The pretty local women gawked at the handsome young Frenchman as he climbed out of the sea. He was dripping wet and dressed in a beggar's cloak. Valletta, Malta The afternoon sun was hazy as it hung in the misty blue sky. Its corona was blurry and threatened to cry lonely teardrops on all who witnessed its melancholy dance. The very air tasted of the ancient past with its sweet sugar and exotic spices. The Tunisian trawler sailed through the Mediterranean Sea on the west coast of Malta. The contrary winds had forced the craft to alter its course and come at the island in a most unusual fashion. The curious craft had picked up Cass on the shore of the Sahara Desert after he ran away from Bedouins and banshees. The crew dropped him off at the largest Maltese port.
