Dressmaker

Moss Scanlon was sitting on his stool in his Harness Maker’s shop, busily repairing a donkey saddle, when he heard the thud from the room above. He didn’t have time to react. A fraction of a second later he was slapped on the head by a lump of plaster the size of a dinner plate and enveloped in a cloud of grey flakey dust.
