Healing Journey

The experience of cancer may be compared to a journey into the unknown. These art quilts chronicle themes of love, courage and insight from the stories of patients and caregivers as shared with a visiting artist Lauren Kingsland at Georgetown University Hospital's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington D.C. Art tends the spirit while medicine tends the body.
