She loves working with the needy especially women and children, and draws and paints as hobby. She says...“ It happened in the snow capped, lush mountains, among the law abiding and peace loving, friendly people of Baltistan.
It was a magnificent Holiday that we spent at Shigar and Khaplu: Exotic places with history and intricately carved unique architecture mingling with alpine beauty and good climate.
A holiday maker’s and photographer’s Paradise indeed!
This was capped by excellent security in a region with law abiding and hospitable people; and outstanding service in Palaces and Forts renovated to serve as luxurious Hotels….
giving us an option to live like Kings and Queens…
Choice of local dishes, Pakistani, and Continental cuisine...
and Gems, Rugs and other exotic Souvenirs.
Guided tours and plenty of day excursions, treks, in- House activities and local area activities e.g. Polo and horse riding were available…
A relaxing holiday, filled with a variety of interesting activities among friendly genuine people… We all feel revived. It was exciting yet serene.
