📖 Description
Learn CPR because YOU care.
The leading death in the US, according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC.gov), is cardiovascular disease. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving emergency technique, used for when someone stops breathing or has a loss of pulse (or both). CPR is performed to maintain oxygen to the brain until the heart starts beating. CPR involves chest compression, breathing mouth-to-mouth or utilizing a tool for pushing air into the patient’s lungs and using an AED. The American Heart Association recommends all persons to perform CPR beginning with chest compression. If any bystanders feel ill-equipped to perform CPR, remember, acting on saving someone’s life is much greater than doing nothing at all.
