Three Babylonian Creation Myths

Three of the main creation myths of the Babylonian religion are compiled in this volume: The Atra-Hasis, The Myth of Adapa and The Enuma Elish. These are some of the first texts of mankind, if not the first ones. These are the roots of the stories we all know today from the Bible: the first account of the Deluge, the creation of mankind, and the reason why we are mortal.
