Lost in an ever-changing but inescapable city, Kirsten Jay doesn't have a clue who she is or where she's from. The only hearkening back to her past is a name scribbled on the underside of her shoelace, and even that may be false. But it's all she has. That, and a friend named Grey. Together they brave the horrors of Walter, searching all the while for their lost identities. But sometimes it's easier to live without the truth; sometimes shadow is simpler than light.
