When Pierre’s mother dies, the girl inside the TV set becomes his world. Then gradually it dawns on him that, all this time, she hasn’t been writing back. And he’s not happy about it…

Together with Jesse Armstrong, Sam has co-written eight series of the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show. The show has won two British Comedy Awards, two Royal Television Society Awards and a BAFTA.
In 2011 Sam and Jesse created Fresh Meat, which won two RTS awards and a British Comedy Award.
Sam’s film writing includes 2010’s Four Lions, co-written with Jesse and Chris Morris, which won the BAFTA for Outstanding Debut.
