About the artist and author

Kathy Shell is a traditionally trained fine artist, formerly of Buninyong Gallery, and the award winning Dreaming Billabong series, book cover designer.

She retired from gallery exhibitions to write full time following an acclaimed fifty-year career as an award winning artist, potter and sculptor who also wrote traditionally published non-fiction.

Kathy Shell was a private art tutor for forty years, and many of her students became award winning professional artists and art tutors.

Kathy Shell and the Buninyong Gallery were featured in the Australian Artists Magazine and on Channel 9 network's Ernie Sigley Show, National 9 News and Win TV multiple times.
