When a series of overlapping global catastrophes wiped out civilization as it had been known those who survived were left with the choice of trying to rebuild the world or simply letting anarchy and nature take its course. Standing somewhere in between was a legendary character known only as Madison, the most resourceful survivalist, feared gunfighter and enigmatic philosopher in what was left of Southern California.
