Her philosophy developed over her years as a parent, as she studied for her BS and MA degrees, during her years as an educator, and as she developed programs in parent involvement for public schools and teaching undergraduate education students.
As an educator, Mrs. Dooley taught in the classroom for decades. She was a Basic Educational Skills Coordinator where she implemented educational programs in parent involvement. As a coordinator, she served as workshop facilitator at the local, regional, and national level organizing a variety of workshops that included topics such as changing attitudes and behaviors.
