Francette and the Mystery of the Deaf Soldier

Francette, a young Parisian girl, is on her way to spend the summer with her grandparents in the small village of Sainte-Mere, in Normandy.
But when she discovers that the church bells are tolling every night, she decides to investigate with the help of her childhood friend, Anatole.
Following the clues, they soon learn about the tale of a World War II paratrooper who jumped over the church steeple during the Overlord Operation. The villagers are convinced that his ghost is haunting the church and keeping them awake at night.

Could it be true? And what would his motive be?
It is up to Francette and Anatole to solve the mystery! (ages 7-10)
