Enki's Ark (A Toby Briggs Adventure Book 1)

Introducing Toby Briggs, an everyday London schoolboy, destined to become a household name throughout the world. In an international online computer game contest, Toby makes it into the top twenty finalists and joins the final play-off rounds held in Dubai and broadcast live around the world. He wins this to become an internet gaming celebrity. Toby is contracted to be the corporate image of a new gaming company owned by the mysterious Mohammed Ibn Haroun, and to assess a series of online games being developed by this company.
Several months later, the company and these games are launched at the 2014 E3 Expo in Los Angeles. Though still in its beta stage, the game Interceptor Pilot is previewed at the expo and causes huge excitement with its revolutionary technology. Once this is completed, Toby feels he has fulfilled his contract and prepares to return home. However, Haroun offers him more money to accompany him to the Western Desert of Egypt, where he is introduced to Enki’s Ark. Toby quickly realises that the virtual world created in Interceptor Pilot is a simulation of the ancient god’s flying machine. Is he being groomed to fly this ancient craft and for what purpose?
