📖 Description
Marshall Trieber did not excel as a standard issue soldier. He was most decidedly non-standard. Marshall was sent to Japan in 1946 as part of the Allied army of occupation following World War II. Through a series of misadventures, at the age of nineteen Marshall ended up working for US Military Intelligence as the co-founder and assistant principal of the US Army’s American School for Dependents in Kyoto, Japan. Neither Marshall, the army, nor the field of education would ever be the same again!
