Moods, Memories and Other Manoeuvres captures a small snapshot of the vibrant atmospheres of the Wirral and Liverpool music scene from the mid to late 1970s, her involvement with Andy McCluskey, and her own part in the history of synthpop band Orchestral Manoeuvres in The Dark (OMD).

Julia is of Anglo Manx descent and spent her formative years in and around the North West of England. She shares her perspective of a colourful and emotionally charged childhood, the fall out of her parent’s divorce, her own musical awakening and also her career in mental nursing.

Julia now lives on the other side of the Pennines with two humans and three large dogs.
