Description

What is financial freedom?

Very simply put, financial freedom means you have a continual source of income to provide for your needs. Independent wealth means that you have an unlimited or continual source of income for which you don't have to work. You don't have to be independently wealthy to be financially free.

Some people feel like the answer to all of their financial problems is to have more money. While you do need to be able to make money continually, having more money right now is not always the answer. Having surplus wealth requires its own kind of management and can actually take away from the joy that life gives you overall instead of adding to it.

When you have financial freedom, you may still have debt. It is very difficult, even for people with steady incomes to pay for a new car outright. It is also nearly impossible to pay for a new home outright. Shelter and transportation are necessary, though, and can be obtained with loans. Having this debt and paying it off is a part of freedom when you have learned to be the master of your finances. You just need to know the difference between a good debt and a bad one.

Remember that money is a means to an end, not the end itself. Having excess amounts of it seems like a great thing. While this may free you from certain obligations and difficult situations that you have right now, it brings with it a whole new set of inhibitions and worries. In the end, the idea of true freedom that we will discuss here isn't achieved in this way.

Effective money management is achieved by learning about and implementing four things. These things are defining your vision, spending your money wisely, saving money as much as you can and investing it wisely. I heard a sort of cheesy saying recently. “Health is wealth.” It truly is, though. What good is money if you are suffering from ills and ailments all the time? Take care of yourself and your money so you can live the stress-free and healthy life you were meant to.

At the end of this book, you will find worksheets. If you have paid for this book, feel free to print them. With each section, there will be a note instructing you if there is a worksheet to go with that section. I advise to read through or at least skim the entirety of the book before beginning to fill them out. This will give you a better idea of how to do so in a way that will be truly beneficial to you.

Are you ready? Let's begin.
