Sue Armstrong qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Cambridge University Veterinary School, England in 1984 and has been dedicated to veterinary medicine and healthcare ever since. She set up her dream practice, Balanced Being, based in Wetherby in 2003 which is a fully integrated veterinary centre with homeopathy and excellence in medicine as its core philosophy.
Sue studied homeopathy at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital and with the HPTG in Oxford. She obtained VetMFHom status in 1996 and then went on to qualify to treat human patients by gaining her RSHom in 2007. Sue went through teaching training with the HPTG and is now partner and current director of education. Sue is the current President of the British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons and president of The Canadian College of Animal Homeopathy. She lectures internationally on homeopathy and integrated medicine for animals and people and has presented in Japan, Australia, Canada, USA, Denmark, Ireland and Latvia. In 2008 Sue set up the Balanced Being Foundation dedicated to the furthering of man’s understanding of health and disease.
Sue is a founder partner and the Director of Education of the British Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy (BAVH). She is veterinary consultant to the raw dog and cat food company Natural Instinct.
