The books “The Dark Horse Blues” and “Red Letter Retribution”, the first two novels of The Jovian Frontier Series and set within that fictional universe, represent an interesting literary idea by the author. Rather than functioning as Book One and Book Two, they are, instead, two sides of the same overarching narrative. So, it does not matter which story to start with; both novels begin and end at the exact same time.
