This novel is a sequel to "FRUGAL LAWYER, FLASHY LAWYER" and readers are encouraged to read that story first in order to understand the complexity of the main characters, Ronald Smith and Sonia Poniecki. Having said that, this new novel is a stand-alone story on its own although it is the author's first attempt at penning a science fiction book (he hopes he hasn't botched things up).
Imagine two identical parallel worlds, each one observed by an alien creature as its own personal toy, something akin to a boy with an ant farm. One of those creatures, Larjon, is benign and is content merely to observe its toy. The other alien, named Jarlon, is competitive and bored. Jarlon enters its realm and kills one woman, Sonia Poniecki, for the sole purpose of commencing an experiment to chronicle the subsequent changes between the two realms which occur following the removal of that one single human from just one world.
In Larjon's realm, however, Sonia Poniecki meets and falls in love with Ronald Smith, and both are inexplicably transported into Jarlon's world. With its experiment at risk because of this unexpected event, Jarlon concludes that it must find and exterminate Ron and Sonia.
The result is a compelling story of love and adventure as Ron and Sonia attempt to elude this alien assassin.

Donald W. Desaulniers is a retired lawyer from Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He began writing in 2009 as a hobby after his retirement, and has pumped out a dozen novels since then. He wants to warn readers that he is not a professional writer, just an amateur who loves to write down his ideas on paper.
Donald lives in Belleville with his lovely wife, Jane, and their cats.
