Betrayal and loss are the reasons Casey wants to escape to a peaceful place where the painful past can become a distant memory. She hopes that time away will help her come to terms with the loss of her four-year-old daughter, Kelly, and repair her failing marriage. Casey has no destination in mind. She hears eerie voices, smells strange odors, and encounters a threatening apparition. In researching the original owners, Casey finds they were involved in a triple homicide in 1872, Sean O’Malley, his wife, Larissa, and an unidentified man. While exploring the attic, she uncovers more information regarding the O’Malley’s, along with a family portrait. Casey notices an uncanny similarity between her and the women in the portrait, Larissa O’Malley. This begins a journey that will test her belief in the supernatural as she strives to uncover a century-old mystery that will change her life forever.
