Train to the Sun

Two Civil War veterans settle in Arizona Territory and shortly after getting a spread organized, one takes ill. The other one puts his partner on a train to Tucson but doesn't have the fare to ride the train, so he follows on horseback. Two days later he finds his partner under a railroad water tank, shot in the chest. Thus begins a hazardous journey to revenge his partner's death by tracking down the polecat that put a slug in him. Eventually he has to decide whether to give up his lust for revenge or give up the girl he has sworn to marry. Beautiful Elizabeth McAllister, daughter of one of the richest ranchers in Arizona Territory, hopes that he will live long enough to make that choice.
