Often I thought why did it was not written in poetry? I put my hand to poetize and translate it to THE LAST LYRIC. Also very few of our younger generation have read Rabindranath Tagore.They may do so if they get it in a shorter and attractive format. My endeavor is also aimed at that. The couplets in the original novel were translated in a shorter version here. Hope readers will enjoy the feelings of our greatest poet about love and marriage.
