Simple Stuff: A Son's thoughts on life and his Father's stick figures

In 2003, award-winning filmmaker, Robert Cochrane, was looking for a way to connect with his father, Dan. Robert began scratching out thoughts on life. Dan responded in the best way he knew how: with interpretive stick figures of what Robert had written. This connection, a deepening of a bond through not just assumed and shared blood but tears, sweat and a desire to know one another as men, led to this book and their 2004 baseball odyssey captured in their heralded documentary, "Boys of Summer".
