Brad nears completion of his time machine in order to enable humanity to liberate themselves from the subtle domination of the alien intruders. However, it might all be in vain as the aliens launch a surprise attack on a defenseless world, forcing his wife, President Keen, to consider the ultimate decision that could condemn humanity to extinction. Brad, however, is adamant on preventing her doomsday scenario by sacrificing what is most dear to them.
