From FIRED To HIRED In 113 Days: What I did and how I did it

Let’s talk about us for a little bit, you and me. I don’t know where you are or how long you’ve been where you are in this job-search thing, but I sure do sympathize with your circumstances and your motivation for reading this bunch of words. Speaking from personal experience, I myself have suddenly been in a tough place a few times (1986, 1988, 1991, 1995, 2003 to 2004, and 2013), wondering about making the rent, wondering about having medical and dental insurance, hoping that putting gas in the car wouldn’t keep us from having to make tough choices about food, all that stuff. I will not tell you that the words I've written on these pages are the end-all be-all sure gosh do-this-and-finding-your-always-wished-for-job-is-a-sure-thing-yeah-uh-huh-wow-yee-ha. What I will say, without qualification or equivocation, is that this effort describes and includes content about:
