Fascinating End Time Truths: Seeing life in a whole new way

Futurism interprets the New Testament prophecies as still unfulfilled. They look ahead and await a future Antichrist, rapture, a great tribulation around the globe, and then expect Christ to come literally in a bodily form. But what about Jesus's prayer to the Father not to take His disciples out of this world, but to keep them from the evil one (John 17:5)? Why did He say it is finished and gave His followers spiritual authority if then they will have no power over an Antichrist person who is expected to enforce a global Satanic rule? Full Preterism see all New Testament prophecies as already filfilled and refer to historical events in 70AD to support their claims. This also does not make sense. If this corrupt world is all there is, with nothing more to look forward to, then how does God in reality ever deal with the problem of sin? Partial Preterists share a bit of both views, but can be inconsistent in their interpretation of Scriptures when standing both side of the fence.
