On a Journey to Forgiveness is a story for the soul; the soul that desperately wants to be redeemed and healed. It’s a story that unveils the ugliness that grows from the wounds and the pains of unforgiveness.
Everyone in this story, including the young pastor, Emmanuel Drake, who was mentally and physically abused as a child, have legitimate and moral reasons for not surrendering to God’s command to forgive. Surely, God will understand if some choose not to forgive their tormentors.
For some the journey to forgiveness is a much harder, longer struggle to get through, thus much chaos and pain explode along the way. Some will find their solace and redemption in the Lord Jesus Christ, others will not.
Moreover, a few must acknowledge and confess their own wrongdoings, their own selfish acts of betrayal, their own guilt in the pain they’re experiencing.
At the end of their journey, most of them will come to know the true meaning of forgiveness. Alas, some may not live long enough to receive forgiveness or to be forgiven.
