At first glance this book is labelled romance & new adult - because it is about a relationship, and the characters are in that 'start of adult life' phase of New Adult. But it's not a typical romance, and it's not 'light'. It goes deeper sometimes; it wrestles with things, and asks the reader to wrestle with them too, as the characters do.

But it's not dark either, and there is always light and a happy ending. Because in life, I always believe in hope.
