The Tale Of Atlantis (The Million Year Journey Book 1)

When Dr. Hans Janssen discovers motors that were driven by wireless electricity more than a hundred thousand years ago, he thinks he is on his way to unravelling the mystery of the legendary civilization called Atlantis. But when a documentary was made on the discoveries, bad things start happening. Tapes of the documentary disappear, and every stray news feature that had reported Janssen's discoveries is pulled out of circulation.

An isolated Janssen is then invited by Dr. Achmed Fouad, his reclusive teacher and mentor to work with him. Janssen follows Fouad to Brazil, where a mummified body and an ancient book await him. He gets sucked into an powerful yet inconclusive ancient story. Even as the story ends, Janssen doesn't realize that destructive remnants of that ancient civilization still exist on earth, creating and destroying with impunity.
