Description
This is how I talk to God and how he answers me ...
In my imagination I begin a conversation with God, and I write down whatever I would like to say to him.: Then I imagine what he might say in his turn and write that down too... You might imagine its a bit like playing chess against yourself, playing one side and then turning the board around and playing the other.
Thus a typical conversation might have started something like this:
“Lord?â€
“You again huh?†sometimes he speaks to me like this to tease me or make me feel more comfortable
“Yes Lord.â€
“Well?â€
“Lord, do you ever get depressed? Do you ever find yourself sitting quietly alone in a small corner of the world that you created and wonder why? Do you ever look at the mess that your world has become and feel profoundly sad? Do you ever feel that no one understands? Do you ever feel that it was hardly worth it? That you’re not appreciated? Do you ever wonder what the point is of going on?â€
“Bad day my child?â€
“I just feel so alone – like I could do with a hug – like it would be so nice if someone cared.â€
“I care.†said God
