The Settlements: Kye's Story

Something was drawing Kye home after her 10 year absence and she did not want to go. But against her better judgment, she arrives at her foster Mother’s house to her worst nightmare...

The door: kicked in. Her Mother: barely alive. Her Mother’s newest charge: abducted. ‘Be the karma we need in this world,’ her Mother begs Kye before she is whisked away to the hospital. Kye promises she will find those responsible, she will find the abducted child and she will make things right, whatever it takes.

But dealing with her partner's unhappiness leaves Kye struggling to cope. She has to find a way of keeping them both focused on the mission at hand: finding those responsible and making them pay for their evil deeds. And then comes the easy part, the retribution.
