Letter of Rabbi Avraham bar Hiya with translation and commentary by Yaakov Kronenberg

A transcription of lecture on a Torah astrology book written nearly 1000 years ago by the famous Rabbi Abraham bar Chiya. R Chiya lived in Spain (1070 - 1140) and was the great-grandson of Hezekiah Gaon, the last Gaon of the Talmudic academy of Pumbedita and a direct descendant of the David dynasty. He was the teacher of Rabbi Abraham Ibn Ezra and author of numerous books in Hebrew (Hegyon ha-Nefesh, Megillat ha-Megalleh ect..). He was also a great astronomer and published in the field, and incorporated Torah astrology in his daily Torah observance. This series deals with the legal parameters, definitions and applications of Torah astrology.
