The Author


Luke Morris has been training martial arts for over fifteen years. He is a second-degree black belt in Jeet Kune Do (JKD) concepts and Mixed Martial Arts MMA under Sifu Dion Riccardo, and a long-time instructor and MMA coach at Victory Martial Arts Academy in Forest Park, IL. He now trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the legendary Wellington 'Megaton' Dias in Phoenix, AZ. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Hillsdale College.

In addition to this book, Luke is the author of The Martial Artist’s Mindset: Mental Practices for Fighters, Students, Teachers, Coaches, and Artists of All Kinds, available from Amazon. When not practicing or writing about the martial arts, Luke teaches English to children, writes weird fiction (also available on Amazon), and hosts the Fun with Fiction podcast.
