For this act she was soundly cuffed around and the connecting of her elbows went on. "Stop it!" Cut these ropes, get them off me. I refuse to be bound." She turned savagely to the smiling man over whom she had once held authority. "Bill Trafford, don't stand there grinning, tell this idiot to let me loose. You needn't think I'll allow myself to be kidnapped." She glared savagely in disarray. Without a word the large chunk of man who had bound her arms picked her up and carried her away, her legs kicking wildly but uselessly in the air as she issued dire threats. Men are so strong and can do so many things a girl cannot. When the right man picks you up, as now, and carries you away, you have the comforting feeling of being owned and desired along with the prospect of being taken to his bed and being dealt with properly as a girl should be.
