FCI Milan Inmate Handbook

A low security federal correctional institution with a detention center.

The purpose of this handbook is to provide incoming inmates with general information regarding the Bureau, its programs, institution rules and regulations. It is not a specific guide to the detailed policies of the Bureau (which are subject to change) or all procedures in effect at each Bureau of Prisons (BOP) location.

That information is available in the Program Statements located in the inmate law library. Rather, the material in this handbook will help new inmates more quickly understand what they will be encountering when they enter prison, and hopefully
assist them in their initial adjustment to institution life.
