Description

I initially wrote this book for my children and had no intention of publishing. All those that have read it have told me I must publish the book, so here it is.
This book, although written by my about me, quickly gets people thinking and talking about themselves, there childhood, ways to move forward, depression etc. (Several of those who have read it, have broken down crying).
The book touches on growing up pains, depression, self worth, people types, ways to go about moving forward in life ...
You will find that if you do take the time to read the book, you will get a lot out of it.
Also worth mentioning is that the second half of the book gives very powerful tips on the Office working environment and how to survive and get ahead. (I have not written a second book because there are so many books on this subject, I have made it a bonus if you purchase this book :)

Although this book is written about me, after the first few chapters you will start to realise this book is actually about you. What, not possible you say, well read on, open your mind, and start to really think about yourself, your life, and those around you, as I talk about myself and how I go about life.

Once again, ensure you talk to your partner / family throughout the book. You will be surprised with the different ways they think and things they say.

You will find there are two sections to the book, the Personal section and then the Business section. Many of you may not be interested in the Business section, but as a Project Manager I know what I have written is effective, works and will assist you greatly if put into practice.

The last thing you need to know about the book is that I have deliberately not waffled on and have not just written things for the sake of it. I have pretty much got to the point quickly, and this is why you will not need to read hundreds of pages and then try to understand what you have just read to understand the point.

Chapter 1:Excuses, excuses, excuses: Childhood as an excuse.
My parents did this to me, at school this happened to me, my brother/sister is a blah blah blah.
One of the easiest excuses used by many, and I mean many, is the fact their childhood was bad.
Well yes, in some cases the above is true and the trauma does make it hard to move forward, but in the majority of the cases, and I mean the majority, this is a copout. Deal with it and move on. Today there are so many avenues to get help, so many people talk about it, TV coverage on the subject almost seems weekly, It is just incredible the help you can get, so stop making excuses.

CHILDHOOD IS NOT AN EXCUSE IN THE LARGE MAJORITY OF CASES
