Laura Town is a professional medical writer, but more importantly, is a caregiver to her father who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at the age of 62. Laura is the President-Elect of the Indiana chapter of the American Medical Writers Association and has been published by Pearson Education, and John Wiley and Sons. Karen Kassel, PhD, has received fellowships from the PhRMA Foundation and the American Heart Association, respectively. She has published research in the American Journal of Pathology, Journal of Biological Chemistry, and Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
