Guide to Understanding and Repairing Your Credit Score

I'm a Banker. And in my career, I've come to know, very well, the effect a credit score can have on a person’s life. A credit score can literally turn your life around and around. I've seen a good credit score send people into near ecstatic fits and joyous outbursts. I've seen an unanticipated poor credit score throw a potential borrower into almost instant despair. So, I've seen a wide range of emotions related to credit scores over the last several years. Also, along the way, I've done much research on credit scores to see what makes them “tick” and how consumers can influence them.

What I’d like to share with you in this book are the summaries of my experiences and research so that, hopefully, you’ll come to understand a whole lot more about credit scores, how they affect your life, how you can and can’t manipulate and influence your score.

Just so you are prepared, in this book you are going to get a crash course of what credit scores are, what they are NOT, and what affects them (good and bad). Also, we are going to explode some myths and lies, and detail some limitations about credit scores.
