Get Lost

Rachael Reeds is the daughter of trailblazing hippies. Rachael’s mom was one of the founding mothers of the modern midwifery movement and Rachael's father was a driving force in the natural foods movement. Making boxes, watching families have babies, filling jars, labeling containers, cleaning sinks, avoiding birthing classes, swimming in barton’s springs, and riding cap metro buses for free were some of her childhood activities.

Rachael is a college dropout, business woman, mother, and avid reader. She believes reading can be a means of escape (or mediation), and encourages any person to GET LOST in someone else’s life, in someone else’s written reality, for a short while.

Fact or fiction? It is hard to say what this book is. Self-helping travelogue with details and characters changed in the attempt to keep loved ones from getting too pissed off. Sometimes maybe exaggerated, sometimes maybe minimized, but all done in the search of a self, a business, and a family of Rachael’s own.
