A Practical Guide for Managing Information Technology Projects

The purpose of this document is to identify a set of accepted project management concepts and practices that can be applied in a scalable fashion to information technology (IT) projects. Use of the guidelines and standards presented in this document is intended to improve the organization and planning needed for information technology projects and to improve the probability of achieving success in the development and implementation of information technology projects.
