Book 3 of the Ruinland series. The ultraviolent combat synthetic Chiron was severely damaged by a nuclear attack meant to destroy him. He survived the assault but his core systems rebooted and his memory was reset. Chiron managed to climb out of the obliterated bunker where he once protected survivors of the world war.
