Description
In 2005 Tania quit London and her job to spend a year working for VSO: Voluntary Service Overseas. VSO is an organisation that that sends volunteers with a variety of skills to join Emerging World communities and, hopefully, help them achieve positive changes.
Tania spent one year based in a small village in Chhattisgarh, a tribal state in the middle of India, and it turned out to be one of the most wonderful periods of her life, full of adventure and new friends.
During her time there she got to know the Prem Dham orphanage on the outskirts of West Delhi and its charismatic director, Mr Massey.
While in India keen to share her experiences with family and friends, she wrote a monthly newsletter, which now forms the basis of this book.
Every penny raised from sales will go to the children of Prem Dham.
