Sigfried Macabre and Grendle Haus have set out on their journey to rescue Princess Reina Macabre from certain doom. They will stop at nothing to catch the caravan of soldiers that seeks to bring her directly to Bryndahyr, the Black Dragon's doorstep. Along the way, however, Grendle and Sigfried will face many challenges. Some of the veteran members have other plans, however, and Brax is soon chased out of Dolan. Things fall apart and Brax stares death in the face in a bloody conclusion at the top of the land's greatest waterfall.
