A prophet is a minister whose gifts are more in the area of revealing the Mind of God by the direct inspiration and revelation of the moment. Prophets operate more with the inspirational and revelation Gifts of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of inspiration include: the gift of prophecy, different kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues. The gifts of revelation are the gifts of the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, and discerning of spirits. A prophet is a minister who operates consistently with the gift of prophecy and at least two of the gifts of revelation.
