If you are looking for a forex trading strategy with a clearly defined set of rules, there are many good books out there, but this is NOT the book for you. If you are a technical person, needing in depth details on technical concepts, you will hate this book of 'general concepts' and will join my 1 star reviewers club. This book will not tell you what currency pair to buy/sell, nor how or when to enter and exit, nor what indicators to use or avoid.
Rather, this is material for the forex traders who are suffering from TMI (Too Much Information), who have read many books on trading, but who are tired of still losing money as you jump from strategy to strategy, who simply want someone to Simplify and Summarise the Common Wisdoms that Consistently Profitable Forex Traders have come to attain. This is a report for the traders who feel like they've hit a brick wall in spite of the amass of knowledge they've attained about forex, who need help in making sure they have the right foundation to build their success from.
This is the Crux of years of learning and countless hours I've spent, listening to podcast interviews with traders and discussions on trading, reading books and forum discussions and blog articles, and watching trading videos, all Condensed into just 4 Very Important Common Lessons, into a 4 Pillar Framework that now guides my own trading approach.

Dear Anonymous. Thank you for the honest feedback and for helping me realise that there will be readers who may not comprehend the concepts I've tried to get across without a deeper explanation. I have since broken down the concept of "know your personality" a little further and updated my book. I agree that you do need to know your personality to even open a hot dog stand - you might not be a people person, so you shouldn't be in customer service but hire those who are otherwise it would hurt your business; you may have the personality where you can't help always thinking about the 'worst case scenario', in which case you would be the best person to look after the 'risk management' aspect of your business and plan ahead. The problem is, many people don't consider nor honour their personality in their approach to their business of a hot dog stand and/or forex trading, so they will simply have to learn the hard way (as I once did, and that's why I've written this book and just put it out there, while knowing there will be people who won't like how brief it is, won't like that it doesn't tell them what to buy nor where to place entries and exits - someone needs to plant the seed even if people may still choose to want to learn the hard way for a couple more years before the lesson hits them that they should stop putting other traders on a pedestal and start trusting themselves).
