Cain and Abel: The Story of Sin

The action in CAIN AND ABEL takes place in the course of a single day. The plot is straightforward: Satan, rebuffed by Eve in a second attempt to seduce her, sends his daughter Sin to seduce Eve’s son Cain. Abel’s death is the tragic outcome.

The relationships generated by the plot structure allow for an intimate examination of the mundane and yet painful social complexities that accompany human desire. Each character in the drama - Satan, Sin, Eve, Adam, Cain, Abel and God - is able to fully express the existential concerns that accompany his or her position in the universal order of being. Sin's response to the place that she has been accorded is granted particular consideration.
