If your eyes are roaming through the lines of this page, then I understand that you have invested a bit of your time, curiosity and money to gain possession of this book. I acknowledge that you and I share a passion for the expressive power of poetry. And it is that passion, that emotion that has connected us over distance, race, tribe, nationality, gender and possibly… time.
