"Truth or dare?" I asked. "Dare." He said. "Kiss me."

“I think you’re at the wrong table.”

With one simple phrase, John ruined any chance of me fitting in at my new school, embarrassing me in front of everyone. It's not my fault my dad married his mother and I had to move across town. Why did my stepbrother have to be so cruel?

Even so, I couldn't stop fantasizing about him. Not even the three years I was away from him at college lessened my attraction for him.
