123 Tips: For My Grandchildren and Yours

Our grandchildren are living in a different world than we did in the 50s. If you are a Christian, this should greatly concern you. Evil is being called good and if you oppose the evil you are being the one called evil. Christians are compromising God's truth, found in his word, to meet their own selfish desires. When people die, no matter how sinful their life was, people always say they go to Heaven. You never hear anymore of people dying lost. It is hard to believe that over 56 million babies have been aborted since Roe verses Wade. Such an evil, godless act is called a woman's right, with the blessings of the highest court in the land. Our government has moved God from every public place and to mention Him is an invite to being sued. Try to find 100 families, as God would have them, in your communities not affected by divorce. Sexual immorality is running rampant in our country, ripping our families to shreds. A godless form of the creation of man and the universe is being forced on our children by teaching evolution as fact in our public schools and universities.

Yes, I would say they live in a different world. What can we do about it? How can we teach our grandchildren to stay away from evil and have the courage and faith to take a stand for righteousness? I have read somewhere in our country 78 percent of the people, when asked, called themselves Christian. Are you kidding me? Do you see all the evil happening each day in this country on the nightly news? How about the percentage of Christians believing in evolution and those who think abortion is okay? What about the "clergy" of some denominations putting their blessings on same-sex marriages? All of this is what John talks about in 1 John 2:15-17.

Even if you are a non-Christian, surely you are not pleased with the immorality in this country today.
Christians are you pleasing to Christ by living the way He has commanded you to live or are you living as the world He came to save you from? Saying you are a Christian and live like the world, is like a man saying he is a football player and never goes to practice or a game.

Whatever I call myself, more than likely, my children and grandchildren will follow me down the same path. If they are going to follow me by my example, I better lead them with a Christ like example. To influence them saying I am a Christian and partake in the ways of the world will lead us all down the path of eternal damnation.

How can we protect our children and grandchildren from this path? First, if we are not living as Christ commands us, we need to go to God's word and find out how we can start anew serving Him in an acceptable manner. Then our children and grandchildren need to see our changed lives, by our daily Bible reading, praying, and actually living it.

Christian parent or grandparent your children and grandchildren need you. They need you to teach them how to be faithful Christians. You want to change this country for the better? We can do it one parent or grandparent at a time. Have the courage to search out God's truth for yourself and then pass it own. Your example of what a Christian should be, passed on to them, is much better than leaving them millions of dollars in your will. The millions of dollars will pass away, but Heaven will not.

Think about it. We can be good influential parents and grandparents. Our children and grandchildren are depending on us

This book was written to give my grandchildren and your some tips on how to live in this fallen world as Christians. They are going to need a faith pleasing to God and with good courage not being overcome by this world. You and I love them so much we would die for them. So let's do it.
